Haibo Jia
Dr. Haibo Jia is the president of the UK-China Association for Talent, Science and Technology Exchange and founder of International Elite Limited London, UK focusing on international education business. He is the Chairman of the British Shaanxi Association, Vice President of the British Alumni Association of Xi’an Jiaotong University and was leading the Xi’an High-tech Development Zone Overseas Technology Services in London.
Dr. Jia graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong University in China. In 2002, he was awarded a prestigious funding by the Royal Academy of Engineering to conduct research in the UK, where he later acquired his PH.D. in Computing from Glasgow Caledonian University. As a senior researcher at De Montfort University, his research areas encompasses intelligent IoT applications, semantic networks, and knowledge systems. He also worked for Capita Group Ltd, a British FTSE100 insurance company as a senior software system consultant. Dr. Jia has worked in many research institutions and internationally renowned tech companies. He has rich experience in information technology research and development and industrial application. Currently He is active in high-level talent exchanges between the UK and China, high-tech transfer and transformation, as well as technological innovation. He is a pioneer of developing international innovation collaborative platforms in education and high tech.
Max Li
Max qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC LLP and worked years in the London before setting up his own accounting and tax advisory and tax frim. He has a mixture of experience in advising large FTSE 100 listed companies and high net-worth clients.
In his more recent career, he has focused on tax advisory for high net-worth non-UK domiciled client and their global business,
on wide arranging issues such as tax structuring, family trust/family office, cross-boarder M&A regarding UK and overseas assets and so forth.
